Box return,buy back,trade in?

Constantly I am asked of questions like:

what if I move?
If you move, please bring the dish antenna and box together with you to the new address. We do dish installation and cabling work at RMB250. Please let us know at least one day before it so we can arrange a time you prefer on the date. It takes around 1.5 hours for a normal installation.

If you are not able to take down the dish antenna, let us know, we have to go do it for you, we’d better to do it in one day to avoid double transportation.

Do you buy back the receiver box if I leave?
Sorry, No. We do not buy equipment back. If you still have some balance subscription valid, I suggest you to give the system to one of your friend. You can sell it to them as while. The subscription is calculated as RMB250 a month and you can sell it according to it’s balance value. Your friend pay RMB250 for the installation work then the system is theirs.

What’s your refund policy?
The system is activated with a one year contract. You pay after it’s working, cash on installation. We will make sure that the dish installation is good and ok for the whole four seasons. We have considered dish position, weather, trees in summer and winter, as possible as we can anticipate. If the box has a hardware problem, we either fix it or replace it. Losing subscription dates compensated.

As long as the system is working, we do not refund it on customers request. 

Do you do trade in if I move?
Sorry, we do not have trade in.

Where do I return the box if it’s no longer be used?
We can go to your home to pick it up. Dish will be dismounted if you request. Most of our installations are on railings without drilling holes so once it is removed, there’s no hard damage and trace anywhere.

Do I own the box and dish?How much can i sell it for?
Yes, you own the box. You have full right to sell it, to give it to us for free, to throw it away or sell it and/or give it to your friend. When it is passed on to your friend, we appreciate it if you can send us the new owner’s information like name, email address, if possible address and cell phone number.

This year it seems there are more people leaving than coming, compare to numbers of the past few years. We received quite a few second hand Homecast boxes from customer who left. It’s very kind of you my customers! Some boxes are still with months of subscription left.
