Invisible Dish

Last month one customer requested us to paint the dish into brown color, trying to make it mix with the building cover colors.

It did not work exactly as he expected I guess. Color of regular spray paint fades in a few months under sun shine and rains. The nature will do the work of purify.

The original dish antenna surface coating is good, to protect the dish metal from rusting and make the dish surface smooth to reflect more signal to LNB. Surface coating is a complicated industrial process refers to sort of a mixture of film-forming materials plus pigments, solvents, and other additives, which, when applied to a surface and cured or dried, yields a thin film that is functional and some times decorative. In terms of dish antenna, it’s more functional of course.

If you are looking for a real kind of invisible dish, there are two options to go.

1. Choose a Ku band flat dish antenna, paint the cover as the same color or style as mounting background. something like this:

2. Choose a transparent oval shape antenna.
